Parents in Central Massachusetts have known for generations that the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers offer quality dance education. Established in 1957, the studio has been under the direction of esteemed dance educator Charlotte Klein for over 60 years. Then in 2013, former student and current faculty member Rachel Rubin took over, continuing the studio’s tradition of excellence. At the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers, both parents and their children can look forward to a comprehensive program of dance education. The studios at 1122 Pleasant Street in Worcester and Westmeadow Plaza in Westborough offer classes in a wide range of styles, from Pre-School to Pre-Professional, including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Acro and Hip-Hop. With experienced and knowledgeable instructors, the Dance Centers are the perfect place for children of all ages and skill levels to explore their passion for dance.

We've got two great options for you and your family to enjoy crafting together! Our Walk In Studio Painting and Pottery to Go allows you to visit the studio anytime and create something special. If your group is larger than usual, you can also easily book an appointment ahead of time. When you choose Pottery to Go, you don't need to worry about coming into the studio in person. Simply message us on Facebook and we'll send you pictures of all the inventory, so you can pick out the items you want virtually. Your items will be wrapped up and all the paint and brushes you need will be provided for you to take home and craft in the comfort of your own home. Finally, if you're looking for a special occasion to gather the family, Birthday Parties, Ladies Nights, Scout troops or Family Gatherings, we're back in full swing! For more than seven decades, the Worcester Youth Orchestras (WYO) have been providing Central Massachusetts with a unique musical experience. Founded in 1947 by Harry Levenson, WYO has been dedicated to helping young musicians develop their skills, foster friendships, and learn the value of teamwork, self-discipline, and diligence. With a mission to help the greater Worcester community through accessible live musical performances and cultural enrichment, WYO continues to be a leader in the area’s musical landscape. From its founding in 1947, the Worcester Youth Orchestras (WYO) has been a beacon of hope for young musicians in Central Massachusetts. Led by the vision of Harry Levenson, WYO has provided an enjoyable, educational experience to help young people develop their skills and build life-long relationships. But it is not just the young musicians that benefit from WYO; it has also been providing the greater Worcester community with cultural enrichment through accessible live musical performances. WYO’s mission of providing quality music education and cultural enrichment to the community has been successful for more than 70 years and continues to this day.

Welcome to Ritmos Academy! Since 2002, we have been dedicated to preserving Latin American culture through dance in the New England area. Our dancers range in ages from 4-20 and learn folkloric and modern styles from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Cuba. Our first location was 344 Chandler Street in Worcester, MA, and was founded by Hilda Ramirez. We are proud to have Masielle Paulino take on the mission in 2011 and to relocate to 70 Webster St. in 2015. Our growing family of Ritmos continues to educate others about Latino history while providing affordable dance instruction and performance opportunities in a family-oriented atmosphere. At The Dance Place Studio in Worcester, Massachusetts, we believe in the power of dance. WPI’s pre-collegiate programs provide an opportunity for students to explore and expand their knowledge in a wide range of topics. With programs available for elementary, middle, and high school students, there is something for everyone. From introductory STEM courses and robotics to math competitions, humanities, arts, and sports camps- students can get hands-on, immersive learning experiences in a fun and educational environment. Not only do these programs help students develop leadership and collaboration skills, but they also build confidence and foster friendships. The Gigueres family has been a part of the community since 1973. Founded by Joanne Giguere, the business quickly became one of the first gymnastics training schools in the area, with a top quality dance program run by Joan Sherry. Over the years, the business grew, with successful athletes gaining national recognition. In 1987, the business was taken over by Joanne’s son David and his business partner Paul McCarthy. They saw an opportunity to expand the business and add a wider based program for area youth, and this led to the addition of Discovery School House. Today, Gigueres is a premier multi functional childrens sport and childcare facility, offering twelve unique programs for children and their families.

Since 1976, PZ Dance Academy (PZDA) has been providing a quality dance education in an encouraging and positive environment. Over the years, the studio has earned a reputation for helping its dancers develop to their fullest potential. With qualified instructors and a variety of dance styles offered, PZDA is the ideal place for children of all ages and skill levels to pursue their passion. Moreover, PZDA strives to foster a sense of community. The studio provides a safe and welcoming space for students to form lifelong friendships and make cherished memories. With the dedication of its staff and students, PZDA has experienced continued success for over four decades.

The Giguere family opened their business in 1973 and have been providing the area with top quality gymnastics and dance programs ever since. Joan Sherry is the director of the program and has been running it for many years, leading it to national recognition due to the successful athletes it has produced. Gigueres is dedicated to creating an environment where children can develop in all areas of their lives while having fun and challenging themselves. They strive to foster an atmosphere of respect and safety in which children can grow and have fun.

With a generous 12,000 sq. ft. facility, it’s the ideal place for artisans to get creative and work on their projects. This inspiring initiative, Main IDEA, was founded by a group of passionate artists, musicians, and dancers who dreamt of creating a more open and accessible arts community in Worcester. The workshops ran in the summer of 2011, and gave kids an opportunity to explore their creative side in a safe and supportive environment. After the week of creative exploration, the kids were able to share their artwork in a showcase with family, friends, and community members. Main IDEA is a fantastic example of how creativity can bring people together and help foster a more open and accessible arts community.

At Energy Athletics, we provide a wide range of sports training and development for athletes of all ages and levels. We have a variety of specialized classes like pitching, hitting, and fielding, as well as team training and clinics. Our facility also offers multi-sport training, with expert coaches in lacrosse, basketball, and soccer, so athletes have the opportunity to develop their skills in multiple sports. We are proud to offer athletes a facility that can help them become the best versions of themselves.

At our early child-care and education centers, we believe in the importance of providing quality care and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children. Founded in 2002, we have locations in Hubbardston, Leominster, Barre, Worcester, Fitchburg, and Gardner open Monday through Friday, with hours of operation varying by location. We offer both full-time and part-time care and maintain an open-door policy for all families. Our teachers are certified annually in CPR/First Aid and undergo criminal records, sex offender records and Department of Children and Families background checks. They also promote hands-on and teacher-guided learning and continue their education annually.

At Central Mass Dance Academy, we provide training for dancers of all levels. Our goal is to provide a perfect balance of structure and fun, allowing each dancer to progress at their own individual level. We offer a variety of classes, including dance classes, modeling, acting lessons, and vocal lessons. At Jo Ann Warren Studio, your child will be welcomed into a positive and nurturing environment, where every single student is encouraged to reach their full potential. Rainbow Child Development Center (RCDC) offers a comprehensive, high-impact approach to early childhood education. Located in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Center serves 250 at-risk children from 6 weeks to 13 years old. With three innovative programs - Family Child Care, Preschool, and Extended Learning School Age Program - and support from community partners, RCDC is transforming the lives of children and their families.
