Among them is their fearless leader, a spry, absolutely unflappable youngster named Billy Boulder. Now, Billy is not your run-of-the-mill boy. No, sir! He owns a magical backpack that never runs out of energy bars and a pair of sneakers that squeak out climbing tips in a goofy, cartoonish voice. "Don’t forget to stretch!" they'd squawk, sending all the kids into peals of laughter. Every weekend, these brave kids conquer the craggy landscapes of their beloved Bay State, from the rocky shores of Cape Cod to the steep cliffs of the Berkshire Mountains. With helmets as shiny as disco balls and hearts filled with giggles, they'd scramble up the rocks, their laughter echoing louder than a pack of hyenas at a comedy show! Each triumph, each new peak reached, was celebrated with a victory dance, often leading to more laughs and a few harmless tumbles. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Our instructors are committed to providing a well-rounded experience that not only focuses on developing basic climbing skills and techniques, but also on fitness and team building activities. Through bouldering, top-rope climbing, belaying, and obstacle course challenges, your child will gain valuable skills and build their self-confidence by meeting new friends and furthering their climbing and movement abilities. At Central Rock Gym Worcester, summer break is the perfect opportunity for your child to have a blast learning and improving their climbing and movement skills. Our instructors will lead your child through a week-long program that includes bouldering, top-rope climbing, belaying, and obstacle course challenges. By participating in these activities, your child will gain confidence and strength as they develop basic climbing techniques, while also engaging in fun team building games. We believe that our program will provide your child with a unique and rewarding experience that will help them stay active and make new friends.
