Madison Youth Choirs (MYC) was founded in 2003, when two choirs merged to become one. Each year, MYC serves over 1,000 young people, ages 7-18, and over 20,000 audience members with many different choral programs. MYC's goal is to inspire self-confidence, personal responsibility, and a spirit of inquiry in its students, helping them to become "expert noticers." Midwest Clay Project & Studios is a great place for anyone interested in ceramics. Located on Madison's east side, the 4800 square foot studio is the perfect space for creating unique ceramics pieces. The studio is equipped with worktables, 18 electric wheels, a slab roller, two extruders, a glaze spray booth, and electric kilns. We provide a variety of mid-range clay bodies and cone 6 oxidation studio glazes. Whether you’re interested in studio memberships, private studio space, classes, lessons, or open studio times, we have something for everyone. We also host parties, field trips, and other events. For over two decades, Higher Fire Clay Studio in Madison has been providing parents and their children with a unique opportunity to explore the creative world of ceramics. From the gallery, parents can purchase unique pieces, including handmade jewelry, tiles, bowls, plates, mugs, and sculptures, all crafted by local and regional artists. Kids can join one of the group classes or receive one-on-one instruction to learn the basics of wheel throwing, hand building, and brush up on existing skills. Every Wednesday, Higher Fire hosts open studio nights, giving kids the opportunity to meet other ceramic enthusiasts and the studio dogs, Greta and Gilly.

ARTS for ALL Wisconsin, an affiliate of the Very Special Arts (VSA) program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, was founded in 1974 with the mission of creating a society where people with disabilities could learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts. The organization started with a one-day festival for school-aged children in 1977 and was incorporated in 1985. After that, ARTS for ALL Wisconsin quickly moved to initiate ongoing programming leading into the festivals. This was done with the aim of integrating people with disabilities into the mainstream, providing them with an outlet for creative expression and the opportunity for personal, academic, and professional success. Today, the organization continues to provide effective and well-loved arts programs for people with disabilities throughout Wisconsin.
