Every day, he leads his merry band of cheese-chomping, foil-flashing fencers on exciting adventures. They practice their parries and ripostes amidst the lush greenery of their beautiful state. Their fencing matches are fiercely competitive and unbelievably funny, often accompanied by a symphony of giggles and playful taunts. From climbing walls, swings, and zip lines to dedicated zones for pretend play and art, The Happy Hive offers both high-energy fun and creative outlets. While we cater to children ages 1-13 for neurotypical kids, we have no age limit when it comes to kids with special needs—because play should have no boundaries. At The Happy Hive, we believe every child deserves a space where they can feel safe, included, and free to be themselves.
At Cracovia, we believe that fencing is a life-long recreation skill that offers relaxation, fellowship, enjoyment, and refreshment of the body, mind, and spirit. We are passionate about promoting the wonderful sport of foil fencing. We offer classes and summer programs for ages 9 and up so everyone can join in the fun. Our goal is to make fencing accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level or gender. We have been providing fencing classes in Madison since 1997 and in Mount Horeb and Sun Prairie since 2003 and 2006 respectively. Everyone is welcome to come and give fencing a try!
