Teens
The Madison Public Library is dedicated to serving all teens in Madison with access to diverse collections, community spaces, and technology. Our programmatic efforts for teenagers are focused on building relationships with teens and teen-serving professionals, that work toward bridging the opportunity gap in Dane County(link is external) through targeted, skill-based programs designed for traditionally underserved teens.
Multi-Age Storytime (children 5 and under)
READ and PLAY together with children under age 5! Engaging with books, songs and playful experiences all help children develop communication skills, patience, empathy, and pre-reading skills and helps to build a lifelong love of reading. Library programs are always free. All older and younger siblings as well as childcare groups welcome.
