For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. At Camp Takajo, we maintain a traditional camp experience that is focused on teaching and reinforcing the twelve Arch Ideals. These ideals are at the center of camp life and serve as a guide for our campers and staff members. Our goal is to provide a program that promotes the development of character and personal growth in a safe and positive environment. The 12 Arch Ideals are integral to the Camp Takajo experience. These ideals form the foundation of our camp and are the cornerstone of our program. They are emulated by our staff and embraced by our campers. The ideals are reinforced throughout camp in both formal and informal settings, from educational assemblies and campfires to daily interactions. They provide the guiding principles for all of our campers and staff, setting the tone for a positive and meaningful summer experience.
Dr. George Alexander Kohut, a literary scholar and educator with a vision to provide a healthy and character-building outdoor experience, founded Kamp Kohut in 1907. Coming from the heat and pollution of the city, he ran a boys' school in New York, hence calling it "Kohut's School for Boys". At Kamp Kohut, we pay special attention to the individual qualities of each camper. We understand that each child has different needs and interests and we strive to make sure that all campers have a truly special summer experience. We provide close supervision and carefully orchestrated detail to ensure that each child’s camp experience is successful.
Winona Camps has been a treasured summer home for generations of boys since 1908. The camp is located on the ancestral homelands of the Pequawket people, a part of the Abenaki tribe and the larger Wabanaki Confederacy. Boys spend their summers living in tents on the shores of Moose Pond and engaging in traditional outdoor activities like canoeing, hiking, and swimming. At the same time, modern activities like rock climbing, kayaking, and lacrosse help campers explore new boundaries and develop lifelong skills. Winona also offers unique experiences like the BAT, Red-Gray competitions, and The Great Relay. This combination of old and new makes it one of the oldest summer camps in the country and a beloved summer destination for boys around the world.

The camp is located on a 125 acre campus on Crescent Lake in Maine and is open to boys between the ages of 8 and 15 years. The camp program offers a variety of activities including water and land sports, creative and performing arts, wilderness trips, and camp craft. With over 75% of campers returning each year, it is clear that Camp Agawam is a great place for boys to grow and develop. Parents can rest assured that their sons are in good hands at Camp Agawam. With a dedicated alumni network extending around the globe, a boy can leave camp with new skills, new friends, and a new sense of his own capacity. Scott Hamilton and Jason Lariviere are excited to have finally achieved a common goal they've been discussing for two years. The two have been running their own travel teams but now they have created a new program that exemplifies their commitment to the local community. By limiting the teams they choose to participate at the Showcase level, they are able to provide each athlete with one-on-one support and the exposure they need to reach their highest potential. The baseball organization formed by Scott Hamilton and Jason Lariviere is all about supporting local athletes. They are dedicated to giving high school baseball and softball players the assistance they need to achieve their goals. Through personalized attention and the right exposure, they can help their athletes take their game to the next level. It's an exciting new venture that these two have been striving towards for the past two years.
