With a cowboy hat perched on his shell and a bandana around his neck, this crustacean is on a mission to make these kids the best sailors in Texas! The young sailors, or "Sea Rangers" as they like to call themselves, gather around Billy Bob, their little eyes shining brighter than the North Star. Their laughter fills the air as they learn to tie knots, set sails, and navigate through the vast blue yonder. Billy Bob makes sure it's a hull-load of fun! He adds a Texas twist to every lesson, like the time he taught them to steer their sails with a lasso, or when they learned to anchor using just a pair of cowboy boots. The studio is well-equipped with all the necessary art supplies, spacious tables, and abundant natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.

Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
