Amy and Dennis Reid are the proud owners of The Little Gym of West Boylston. With an entrepreneurial spirit and an appreciation for the Little Gym business, the Reids opened their first Little Gym location in 2015. Amy has a Bachelor’s degree from Clark University and over 15 years of dance experience. After 10 years in Human Resource and Recruiting at one of Massachusetts’ largest companies, she decided to combine her love of business, children and the Worcester County community to launch The Little Gym of West Boylston. Dennis is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and works in the financial services industry. Together, the Reids are passionate about the developmental benefits of The Little Gym curriculum, and are thrilled to bring such a top-notch program to the area. The Reids live in West Boylston, and are excited to offer their hometown such a great resource. At Arteca’s Karate Academy, certified instructors provide a safe and supportive environment for children and adults to learn the martial art of Tang Soo Do. At Arteca’s Karate Academy, parents can feel secure knowing that their children are learning the martial art of Tang Soo Do from certified instructors. As a proud member of the World Tang Soo Do Association (WTSDA), the school is backed by an internationally recognized organization with an established curriculum and an extensive network of excellent resources. Through the WTSDA curriculum and belt system, students can progress and earn rank that is recognized around the globe. We are a Family Child Care System under contract with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (“EEC”) to provide support and assistance to family child care educators who are part of our System, as well as to your children who are in their programs, and you, the families. We arrange for child-care services to children from infants to school age. We are owned and operated by Child Development and Education, Inc., a premiere early education and care organization that operates throughout Massachusetts. The family child-care educators who belong to our system are independent contractors who run their own businesses. We provide assistance to these educators, but we do not make any business decisions for them or direct them on how to run their businesses. Our role is to provide advice, consultation and professional development training on early education matters such as curriculum, comprehensive services for children, child development and learning, and successful family engagement.
