. Ms. Emma is a proud Londoner who has a passion for teaching and swimming. She married her high school sweetheart and went on to compete nationally and internationally as a swimmer for over 10 years. After retiring from competitive swimming, she began teaching Montessori and found that her experience with young children gave her the tools to deal with many different personalities. Ms. Emma found a way to bring together her passion for teaching and swimming when she began teaching swimming lessons to her older Montessori students. In 2001, she observed someone teaching infant survival lessons and in that instant she knew what she had to do. Her passion for teaching and swimming led her to become certified as an Infant Swimming Resource instructor in 2003, and since then she has been devoted to providing life-saving swimming skills to as many children as possible.

With 34 years of martial arts experience, Sensei Koenig has been teaching martial arts in Tampa Bay area schools, churches and childcare centers for over 15 years. He is a Yon Dan (fourth degree Black Belt) in Shotokan Karate, and is the first ever to receive a black belt in kobudo (weapons) from his legendary sensei, Mark Pinner. Sensei Koenig is dedicated to providing children and adults with the opportunity to learn martial arts in a safe and fun environment.
