It's a safe haven for kids affected by kidney-related health issues, allowing them to have a great time. This camp specifically caters to children suffering from kidney diseases and renal problems. After care extends from 4:00pm-5:30pm, offering a safe and stimulating environment until you are able to pick up your child. The aim of Camp HONOR is to create a fun, secure environment where kids can embrace the joys of being kids. Camp HONOR prides itself on being a safe haven for children with bleeding disorders. Here, your child can confidently socialize, forge strong friendships, and cultivate a sense of independence, all in an environment that is fully equipped to handle their specific medical needs. A team of specialized medical staff is always on-site, giving you peace of mind that your child's health is in good hands. Moreover, siblings are not only welcome but are encouraged to join in on the fun, making it a camp that truly caters to the unique requirements of your family. Operated by the Arizona Hemophilia Association and in collaboration with local clinics, Camp HONOR ensures that each camper has completed necessary medical forms prior to their stay. With staff members trained in bleeding disorder care, the camp is equipped to provide comprehensive medical support. Not only siblings, but children of affected parents are also welcome to join the camp. While the camp location is subject to change, it is guaranteed to be in close proximity to Phoenix. The camp is affiliated with the Arizona Hemophilia Association, the Arizona Blood Alliance, and the ADA, underscoring its commitment to health and safety.

For over three decades, the Southwest Kids Cancer Foundation has been a beacon of hope for children and families from the Southwestern United States, whose lives have been touched by pediatric cancer. Our mission is simple: to uplift and enhance the lives of these brave young cancer warriors and their families. Our foundation is built on a foundation of compassion, inclusivity and empowerment, and we are deeply committed to supporting these families through their journey. Our flagship programs, AZ Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks, have been at the forefront of our efforts since 1983. Catering to children between the ages of 3-18, these initiatives have touched the lives of countless families affected by childhood cancer. We take great pride in being one of the world's longest-running pediatric oncology camps and one of the very few that also serve siblings. Each year, we host a summer camp in Payson, AZ, free of charge for over 200 children. This camp is not just a fun getaway for these children, but a medically staffed, ADA compliant sanctuary designed to cater to their unique needs. But our efforts don't stop at the end of summer. We run various year-round programs across Arizona, ensuring that our support and services reach as many children and families as possible throughout the year.
