In the evergreen state of Wisconsin, where cheese is king, and cows are as common as clouds, there existed a peculiar group of youngsters known as the Mini Masters of Miniature Golf. Instead of spending their days nibbling on cheese curds or cheering for the Packers, these sprightly kids were absolutely bonkers about Mini Golf. The leader of the Mini Masters was a giddy girl named Madison, named after the capital of Wisconsin. Madison was no ordinary golf enthusiast; she was unique in her love for her lucky pink golf ball and her peculiar polka-dotted putter. Then there was her sidekick, 'Milwaukee Max', named after the largest city of the state, who always managed to find a way to plop his ball into the windmill hole, no matter how windy the day was! Together with a gang of other zany golfers like 'Green Bay Gavin', 'Racine Rachel', and 'Kenosha Kevin', they would venture into the most baffling mini-golf challenges across Wisconsin. From giggle-inducing obstacles like yawning hippo mouths to sneaky traps like swirling whirlpools, there was nothing they hadn't conquered. They would often compete against one another, their laughter echoing through the fields, as they chased after their mischievous golf balls. Each victory was celebrated with high fives and delicious cheese curds, and every failure was greeted with laughter and promises of a triumphant comeback. They were the guardians of fun in the land of Wisconsin, spreading joy, laughter, and a love for mini-golf. As long as there was sunshine and a course to play on, Madison, Max, and their merry band of Mini Masters would always be ready for a new adventure!

In the early 1900s, a group of industrialists and businessmen in the Racine, Wisconsin community saw the potential of a golf course as a great recreational opportunity for the city. They quickly acquired the property needed and hired Thomas Bendelow to design a nine-hole course. With the success of the original course, members soon wanted to expand and the Idlewild Land Company was formed in 1909 to purchase the Charles Wustum Farm, making way for the larger and more modern course. The Idlewild Land Company purchased the property and the Racine Country Club was developed. The members built six summer cottages and a shanty to serve as the clubhouse. The new course was much more exacting than the original and was embraced by the community as a great recreational opportunity. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the members of the community, RCC has been a cherished local landmark for over a century.
