Their leader, a cheeky chipmunk named Chippy, lives in a cozy den burrowed deep in the roots of an ancient pine tree. Chippy has a belly full of giggles, cheeks stuffed with fun, and a heart full of stories. He's the one who sets the pace for every storytelling session, cracking acorn jokes and narrating tales of enchanted forests, brave sea captains, and mystical creatures hidden in the foggy Maine woods. The Maine Storytelling Squad and Chippy, together, make the pine trees whisper in laughter, the rivers sing in glee, and the whole of Maine brim with stories. Camp Med-o-lark is an all genders arts sleep away camp in Washington, Maine for children ages 7–16, set on the shores of a pristine lake. Med-o-lark offers a fully elective program, allowing campers to design their own schedules from a wide range of activities including performing arts, fine arts, sports, circus, waterfront, and more. Each summer, Med-o-larkers come together to build a kind, creative community where everyone has the opportunity to discover, grow, create, learn, and shine.
