Since 1954, Sunset Playhouse has been providing the Milwaukee area with top-notch theatrical experiences. As the first theater in Wisconsin to be built entirely by a community theater group, we have been able to bring together a passionate group of volunteers and professionals to produce eight main stage shows a year. Our Marla Eichmann Studio Theater also houses our After Sunset Series with edgy dramas and musicals. Furthermore, our professional series includes Musical MainStage, with six concerts each season, SideNotes, a six-show cabaret series, and bug in a rug, a three-show children’s series. Our School for the Arts also offers a wide variety of classes and workshops for children aged 2-18. Through these initiatives, we strive to create a vibrant and diverse theatre scene for our community.
