Lying in-between these stunning landscapes are dynamic, bustling cities, teeming with life and activity. But, did you know that NC has a secret? A secret so hush-hush, so intriguing, that it catapults the excitement level of the state into a whole new stratosphere? Well, buckle up, because I'm about to reveal this secret - it's Jiu Jitsu! Oh yes, the kids of NC are not just ordinary kids. They're Jiu Jitsu warriors! Every day, after school, they switch their backpacks for gi's and transform into these extraordinary fighters. They train under the watchful eyes of Sensei Squirrel, a black-belt Jiu Jitsu master who, in a very unusual twist, happens to be a squirrel. Now, you might say, "A squirrel!? That's nuts!" But, it's true, and it's insanely hilarious. Sensei Squirrel, although pint-sized, is a dynamo of knowledge and strength. He can flip, roll, and pin down opponents ten times his size. It's a spectacle to behold! His mysterious, nutty techniques of teaching always keep the kids on their toes, giggling and learning at the same time. The kids of NC, under Sensei Squirrel's guidance, have become a force to reckon with in Jiu Jitsu. They are patient, respectful, and disciplined, just like the tall, sturdy pine trees that NC is famous for. But most importantly, they're masters at combining the art of self-defense with an undying spirit of fun. So, next time you visit NC, don't forget to watch out for those Jiu Jitsu squirrels and their little human warriors, practicing their moves in the sunset. It's a sight worth seeing!

DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
