Camp Med-o-lark is an all genders arts sleep away camp in Washington, Maine for children ages 7–16, set on the shores of a pristine lake. Med-o-lark offers a fully elective program, allowing campers to design their own schedules from a wide range of activities including performing arts, fine arts, sports, circus, waterfront, and more. Each summer, Med-o-larkers come together to build a kind, creative community where everyone has the opportunity to discover, grow, create, learn, and shine. With a strong emphasis on the arts, Med-o-lark offers one of the most extensive programs in dance, fine arts, handcrafts, and theater of any camp in New England.
Camps provide a unique platform for young people to learn the skills and build the relationships necessary to work together for a more just and inclusive future. By training educators and equipping youth, Camps provide a safe and structured environment for meaningful dialogue and productive interaction. Here, individuals and communities can challenge the status quo and work towards a more peaceful and humane future. Through this work, we are dedicated to the pursuit of peaceful change in communities divided by conflict.

At Camp Arcadia, we’ve been teaching girls and women ages 7 to 17 the life skills they need to succeed since 1916. Four generations of the same family have been helping campers gain self-confidence, life-long friendships, and a sense of self-assurance that will stay with them into adulthood. We’re committed to providing campers with an environment that encourages personal growth. Through our group living experience and activity program, campers are able to explore their individual interests and discover who they are. Come join us and experience the Arcadia difference. We’ll help you unlock your potential and become the person you’ve always wanted to be.
