Phil Locario has been passionate about tennis since he was a young boy. Growing up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, his introduction to the sport began with the Parks and Recreation Program. As a teenager, he was already giving tennis lessons and eventually became the Director of the same program. Phil was a star player in high school and college, playing the number one position for Longmeadow High School and St. Michael’s College. While attending St. Michael’s, he was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award and the Roger F. Keleher Award for Outstanding Senior-Student Athlete. Now, Coach Phil Locario has made a career out of his lifelong love of tennis. He continues to teach tennis lessons, inspiring young athletes to follow in his footsteps.
