Long ago, in the enchantingly quirky state of Massachusetts, known for its bewitching beauty and bountiful blueberries, lived a group of marvellous munchkins who ruled the realm of the kitchen. Our story takes place in the dreamy, diversified state of MA, where vibrant autumns sprinkled their color magic, and jolly winters sprinkled their snow frosting. With its hilly landscapes, salty sea air, and tantalizing towns, MA was as tantalizing as a fresh-baked batch of chocolate chip cookies.

In this extraordinary place, there was a peculiar band of culinary crusaders, known as the Massachusetts’ Mini-Masterchefs. These culinary kids had a knack for kneading, a talent for toasting, and the audacity for adding just the right amount of sprinkles. Their leader was a jolly giant of a lad named Bubbling Billy Biscuit (or Triple B, as he was often called). Triple B was as big-hearted as he was big-bellied, and he had an enchanting oven mitt that could whisk up a whirlwind of wonderful recipes.

These petite culinary geniuses did more than just bake Boston cream pies and mix Massachusetts clam chowder. They got into all kinds of funny culinary capers, like the time when they tried to bake a blueberry pie using actual blueberries from their state flag! Or when they cooked up a storm for the Boston marathon runners and accidentally turned the race into the world's largest mashed potato fight. Between their imaginative cooking antics and the lively charm of Massachusetts, it was a deliciously delightful world of flavorful fun. In the state of MA, cooking wasn't just a hobby - it was an adventure!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

At New England Montessori School (NEMS), we strive to provide a preschool experience that is as well-rounded as possible. Our conveniently located North Andover, Massachusetts school offers a unique curriculum that combines traditional influences with Montessori principles.

Our curriculum features thematic units each month, such as "All About Me," "Pumpkins & Apples," and "Winter Wonderland." At HCS Head Start, we offer free traditional part-day early childhood programs to eligible families. With the full-day option, parents who are working or enrolled in school full-time can enroll their children in our comprehensive program – with fees ranging from sliding scale to full tuition. 

We are more than just an early childhood education center. We also provide an array of family and parent support services such as cooking classes, money management guidance, parenting classes, and a healthy relationships program. We encourage parents to become involved in their children’s education and our HCS Head Start community.

Holyoke Chicopee Springfield Head Start

Nativity Preparatory School of New Bedford opened its doors in the fall of 2000, responding to a request from a foundation to create a tuition-free school for boys from families who could not otherwise afford private school. Executive Director Barry Hynes, a former teacher at Nativity Mission School in New York, and founder of Nativity Preparatory School of Boston, recruited a principal with teaching experience and three mission-driven teachers. These teachers committed to six days (and many evenings) of hard work as classroom teachers, coaches, janitors, advisors, and office staff, in order to adapt the Nativity model to New Bedford. 

To this day, the school continues to thrive thanks to the hard work and dedication of these teachers. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the Nativity model remain a pillar of the school’s success. Nativity Preparatory School of New Bedford has been able to provide an incredible opportunity to 12 fifth and sixth grade boys since its opening.

At our facility, we recognize the importance of providing a safe, loving and nurturing atmosphere which supports the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child. Our teachers and staff recognize the need to build each child’s self-esteem and self-confidence through quality interaction and by providing gentle guidance of age-appropriate play, exploration of self-selected activities and discovery learning. 

Our facility has a large fully fenced in outdoor play area, equipped with fun and safe play equipment. We strive to provide a balance of learning and fun for all children through various activities such as arts and crafts, structured play, music, song and dance, painting, coloring and many more. We offer structured preschool, Pre K and before and after school programs as well as vacation and summer programs for children ages 2.9 through nine. By providing the best of both worlds, we are able to ensure that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
