At RER Ponies, riders of all ages and levels are taught in a safe, supportive environment focused on having fun. Heather, the lead instructor, emphasizes a classical foundation for all riders with a heavy focus on dressage. She teaches her students the importance of balance, the use of natural aids, and building a sound relationship with the horse using the training scale. Heather creates opportunities for riders to further their knowledge of horsemanship and compete if they choose. All riders become part of an extended family as they work towards their individual goals. Heather believes that learning to ride should be enjoyable and her riders are always successful and accomplished. She takes the time to get to know each student to help them reach their full potential. With her expertise and guidance, riders gain confidence and the respect and responsibility of riding. At RER Ponies, riders have the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment where they can have fun and become part of a supportive family.
