Welcome to Whiz Kids Children’s Center, a fully licensed child care center that has been providing a safe and loving space for all children on Cape Cod since 1985. Founded by Susan Heinlein, the center employs caring teachers who are dedicated to helping bridge the gap between home and school, making the transition smoother for your child. We understand that your child’s education is of utmost importance, which is why we strive to create a positive attitude towards learning, their classmates, and their teachers. At Whiz Kids, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that will help your child to grow, learn, and play.

At our center, we believe that every child is special and has a bright future ahead. We strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment that helps each child develop to their fullest potential. We recognize the unique qualities and interests of each child and provide positive reinforcement to promote growth and development. We provide a variety of activities to engage children's minds and bodies. Art projects, block building, climbing, cooking, counting, creative movement, reading stories, puppets, dramatic play, circle time, singing, show and tell and much more are all part of the daily routine. Our goal is to not only help children acquire skills, but also to develop a healthy self-concept and positive self-esteem. With our help, we hope to give children the building blocks they need to reach their full potential.

Each spring, teachers and students team up to plant a vegetable garden. The students have an opportunity to get their hands dirty as they weed and water the garden. As the harvest time nears, preschool classrooms will get to sample their homegrown goodies. This year, the gardeners have planted five varieties of apples, giving the students a sweet treat in addition to the vegetables!

At our core, we believe that all children should be respected for their unique qualities and provided with the opportunity to grow to their fullest potential. We strive to foster an atmosphere of acceptance and appreciation for our diverse community of children. Our mission is to create an environment that celebrates cultural diversity and honours individuality while providing quality, comprehensive and developmentally appropriate experiences. Our goal is to provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment for children to explore their world and develop physical, emotional and cognitive skills. We plan to do this through play-based learning that encourages essential skills and a natural enjoyment of the world. We believe that all children, including those with social, emotional, cognitive and physical challenges, have the right to be respected and provided with the opportunity to reach their full potential.
