Turnberry's golf course is truly a gem in a stunning setting. The design, by famed course architect E. Lawrence Packard, first opened in 1972. This 6,900 yard, par 72 course offers beauty and challenge to golfers of all levels, with mature trees, water on 10 holes, elevation changes and plenty of bunkers protecting the perfectly maintained greens. Over the years, our course has been the site of many USGA, CDGA and PGA events, such as the Illinois State Amateur Championship, the Illinois Open, Mid-Amateur Qualifying and US Open Qualifying. Professional and amateur golfers alike have praised the quality of the course and its true-rolling greens.
