Introducing Camp Gid D Up, a free western-style summer camp program for disenfranchised inner-city and at-risk youth ages 9-18. For over 27 years, Camp Gid D Up has offered kids the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and develop their skills. Located just outside of Los Angeles, on a 20-acre ranch in Lake Hughes, the camp provides a variety of activities such as horseback riding, swimming, archery, and more! Our campers can even take part in a camp dance or a rodeo game. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, we now offer Gid D Up weekend retreats, as well as a Jr. rodeo and riding club for former campers. Our commitment to our campers doesn’t end here - last year, we made a donation to Global Camps, and one of the campers created a video clip to thank us. At Camp Gid D Up, we believe that being outdoors is essential to a child’s development. We provide kids with a safe, fun, and educational experience, and the chance to take part in activities that they may not otherwise have access to. With our ongoing support and commitment, our campers can grow and thrive.
