UCode in Manhattan Beach, CA was born in 2009, and quickly found a group of families who were eager to support their mission. Then, Elon Musk reached out and asked if UCode could teach his sons coding, and welcomed them to set up coding and math programs at the SpaceX School. This was a major step forward for the company. In addition, UCode was able to merge with a coding academy who had been collaborating with Cornell University’s Engineering School. The goal was to help young children develop computational skills, and UCode was thrilled to be part of this project.
