In the enormous, sprawling wonderland named Texas, where cowboys roam and armadillos play hide-and-seek in the cacti, a group of lively kids embark on an aquatic adventure of epic proportions. The Lone Star state, renowned for its blistering heat and spicy barbecue, is also home to the Swimming Squirrel Squad, a team of super-swimmers, who splash their way through the Texan summers.

At the helm of this squad is the inimitable, unflappable, and slightly nutty Captain Nutters, a red squirrel with a flamboyant cowboy hat and boots to match. He traded his love for acorns for the thrill of the water after accidentally diving into a birdbath one scorching summer afternoon. Now, there's no tree too high or pool too deep for this pint-sized pioneer.

The kids, following Captain Nutters' energetic lead, practice their freestyle, breaststroke, and butterfly in the shimmering blue pools that dot the Texan landscape like sapphire jewels. From Amarillo to Austin, El Paso to Houston, the Swimming Squirrel Squad is known for their fearless flips, dynamic dives, and of course, their uproarious pool-side banter.

Laughing till their bellies ache after a hilarious cannonball contest, or chomping on watermelons during break time, these children know how to make a splash! The sun might be blazing down on Texas, but the real heat is in the friendly competition between these swimming sensations. With Captain Nutters leading the charge, the Swimming Squirrel Squad is the coolest thing in the Texas heat, showing everyone that in Texas, swimming isn’t just an activity, it’s a way of life.

Since 1947, we have been offering a unique residential camping experience for individuals with disabilities. At Camp Summit, we focus on what our campers can do, rather than what they can't. We offer a variety of traditional camp activities, all of which are adapted to each individual's needs and abilities. Our facilities are completely barrier-free, and our staff is not only well-trained, but also deeply caring. Campers are grouped by age, allowing them to build friendships within their peer groups, all while having a great time and embarking on new adventures.

Situated on a beautiful 460-acre plot in Paradise, Texas, just north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Camp Summit is the ideal location for a safe and fun camping experience. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed as a Youth Camp in the State of Texas. Our campers may have physical challenges, developmental delays, dual-sensory impairments, or multiple disabilities. However, we welcome all campers, regardless of the severity of their disabilities, as long as we can medically meet their needs.

Welcome to Heart O' the Hills, a distinctive sanctuary brimming with the delights and customs of a traditional summer camp experience. This private girls' summer camp caters to young ladies aged 6-16 and is the pride and joy of the Ragsdale family who own and operate it with absolute dedication. We warmly extend an invitation to you to become part of this extraordinary environment, abundant with merriment, education, and the enchanting essence of youth-filled summers.

At Heart O' the Hills, we have meticulously designed our program with an emphasis on fostering personal growth and character development. Our mission is to empower girls with self-confidence, promote teamwork, and nurture leadership skills. Moreover, we strive to champion individuality, motivation, and resilience. We are more than just a summer camp; we are a nurturing community, dedicated to encouraging personal growth and development.

Our camp offers diverse 2- and 4-week overnight sessions, packed with over 50 instructional activities. We seamlessly blend traditional camp activities with unique ones, from English and western horseback riding, Red Cross swimming lessons, a variety of team and individual sports, to archery, riflery, tennis, cooking, fencing, rock climbing, video production, and wilderness survival. Austin Sunshine Camps has been offering enjoyable, overnight summer camp programs to children in the greater Austin area, completely free of cost since 1928. We continue this tradition by offering free programs to not only returning campers but also new campers who either meet the eligibility for free or reduced school meals or are part of the foster care system. We believe in providing an enriching summer experience without any financial burdens.

For over six decades, the Quillian Center has been a haven for children looking to enjoy a memorable summer camp experience. Nestled in the heart of Houston's vibrant westside, Camp Quillian has won the hearts of the Westchase District community, becoming the most popular choice for a summer camp. Accredited by the American Camp Association, we offer day camp services for children aged 5-12 and a special Teen Camp for those aged 13-14. With flexible camp hours running from 8AM to 6:30PM, we provide an experience that is both enjoyable and convenient.

We understand that each family's schedule differs, and as such, we are pleased to offer half-day options for both morning and afternoon sessions. Morning half-day campers are welcome to join us as soon as our doors open, where they can partake in specialty camps and grand assemblies. These campers can be picked up at the end of their lunchtime. Our afternoon half-day campers begin their adventure at 1PM, participating in facility rotations, special events, and daily swimming opportunities. Pick up time for these campers is 6:30PM when our camp closes.

Camp Quillian is not only about fun, but also about diverse activities that keep children engaged. We boast a host of resources including a gymnasium, two swimming pools, an indoor climbing wall, game rooms, athletic fields, and a playground. Our programs are designed to cater to a variety of interests, from indoor and outdoor sports to enrichment classes, arts and crafts, special events, guest speakers, and games. We even host a Vacation Bible Camp! This summer, we're going for gold as we celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympics. If you've ever had the privilege of spending your summer at El Tesoro as a camper, a counselor, or contributing in any other role, your presence at our upcoming events will help us commemorate and honor the cherished history of our beloved camp. We're planning to share stories, photos, and precious memories spanning nine decades, and we'd be thrilled if you joined us. The Camp Fire Camp El Tesoro, established in 1934, has been a welcoming haven for generations of campers, with its iconic swinging bridge being a memorable landmark for many.

El Tesoro, which translates to "The Treasure" in Spanish, is a 223-acre sanctuary nestled between Fall Creek and the Brazos River in Granbury, Texas. Our camp offers a breathtaking panorama of the serene river and the vast open spaces of the blackland prairie. Our natural terrain and indigenous landscape offer our visitors a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. This idyllic oasis currently hosts co-ed overnight campers, day campers, grief campers, teachers, students keen on learning about nature, and groups seeking to foster connection and indulge in outdoor adventures.

In 2010, Camp Fire First Texas launched a Capital Campaign aimed at renovating and upgrading the facilities at Camp El Tesoro. This initiative is essential to ensure that the enchanting spirit of the camp continues to be enjoyed by future generations. We're committed to preserving and enhancing the magic of Camp El Tesoro, enriching the lives of campers for many years to come.

KE Camps are known for their exceptional children's summer camps held at prestigious country clubs. With over 20 years of experience under their belt, the KE Camps team has successfully instilled a robust sense of community and camp spirit within the country clubs they operate. This has brought about significant benefits not only to members, but also their guests. At KE Camps, our driving force is our love for the life skills that a camp experience ingrains in children. We believe camps are a nurturing space where children can enhance their self-confidence, refine their leadership skills, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and cultivate lifelong friendships. Since its modest inception of operating three club camps in 1999, KE Camps has experienced significant growth, now operating over 230 clubs nationwide across more than thirty-five states. Last summer alone, over 12,000 jubilant campers spent their summer at a KE Camp. Despite this impressive growth, KE Camps has managed to preserve its friendly, familial atmosphere. Our camps are administered by experienced camp professionals and our exceptional work hasn't gone unnoticed. Boardroom Magazine has recognized KE Camps with the Excellence in Achievement Award for Club Program of the Year annually since 2014.

DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From theater and dance to fencing and stage performance, children can try new activities and discover their unique talents.

Small class sizes let instructors give each child personalized attention, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and confident as they learn. Kids build artistic skills while also developing social confidence, teamwork, and poise on stage and in everyday life.

Our programs celebrate each child’s individuality, combining fun, hands-on experiences with a focus on personal growth—all while keeping Russian language and culture an important part of the curriculum.

Camp Huawni is a coed summer camp located on 600+ acres in the pristine Piney Woods of East Texas. We are truly off the beaten path with miles of hiking trails, abundant forests, and our own private waterfront. When our campers are unplugged from their phones and immersed in nature, their friendships and creativity thrive.

Camp Huawni is a traditional, throwback summer camp for boys and girls. We believe that camp works best when we have simple fun, are outdoors a lot, experience meaningful traditions and ceremonies, and develop authentic friendships.
