The Lone Star State might seem like a strange setting for this ping-pong pandemonium, but these kids, y'all, they've got the spirit of a charging Longhorn and the precision of a rattlesnake strike. They're not wrangling cattle, they're wrangling ping-pong balls, serving them up faster than a jackrabbit on hot coals. And leading this legendarily loopy lot is none other than Paddle-Pete, a kid so good with a ping-pong paddle that folks say he was born holding one. Paddle-Pete, with his cowboy hat perched jauntily atop his head, and his trusty paddle, "Betsy," never far from his side. He can spin that little white ball like a twister roaring down the Panhandle. We also welcome homeschool groups and are thrilled to announce the recent addition of a forest school program to our repertoire. You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. For our families in Pennsylvania, we run the program from our family studio there. And if you're not in close proximity to any of our locations, don't worry. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
