Far away in the sunny land of South Carolina, where palmetto trees sway in the warm breeze and the ocean dances to its own rhythm, there exists a group of extraordinary kids called the "Sensory Superheroes." They are not your average superheroes, oh no! They don’t wear capes, they don't have super strength or speed, but they have an incredible power - the power of sensory play! The Sensory Superheroes love to explore and enjoy the world around them using their five senses. They love to squish soft marshmallow playdough between their fingers, listening to the soft swish-swash as it molds into extraordinary shapes. They can spend hours watching colorful bubbles float in the air, their eyes following the path of each bubble, almost as if they were watching a rainbow dancing in the sun. Their leader, a funny fellow called Captain Giggles, who had a belly that wobbled like jelly, leads them on their sensory explorations. Captain Giggles has a nose like a sniffer dog, a touch as delicate as a butterfly's wing, eyes as sharp as an eagle's, ears that could hear the faintest whisper, and a tongue that could taste the invisible sugar in the air. Every day, they gather around Captain Giggles, who with a big guffaw announces, "Time for a new sensory adventure!" And off they would go, sliding down the rainbow slides, diving into pits of cotton candy, or listening to the symphony of the sea shells. These Sensory Superheroes from South Carolina love to learn, laugh, and explore, turning the ordinary into extraordinary with their sensory powers! And remember, their motto is, "Learning is fun when you use more than one... sense, that is!"

Carroll Kamyk is a licensed Zumbini instructor and a licensed NETA Group Fitness instructor. For the past six years, she has been working with children from birth to five years old. She has a deep love for children and it shows through her interactions with them. Carroll is also a mother to a seventeen-year-old and a four-year-old. Carroll found Zumbini to be the perfect combination of her love for dance fitness and working with children. She decided to bring Zumbini to the area, so that caregivers and children can bond through original music, singing, dancing, and instrument play. Carroll has been working with children since 2007 as a teacher, ABA therapist, and currently as an Early Intervention Supervisor. She helps them reach their developmental milestones through parent training and therapy coordination. Through Zumbini, she is able to bond with her own children and help them become independent thinkers.
