Our story revolves around a quirky imaginary character, Sir Thespian Llama, or as his friends call him, "Thespi-Llama." Now Thespi-Llama isn't your ordinary llama. He doesn't graze meadows or climb mountains. He's got a passion for the theater, a snazzy waistcoat, and a habit of reciting Shakespeare at the most unexpected of times. The kids of New Jersey, inspired by their furry, dramatic compatriot, dive headfirst into the world of theater! They're the kind of kids who treat life as their stage, never missing a chance to perform, be it at school, at the dinner table, or even while brushing their teeth! They play everything from rambunctious pirates to wise wizards, from giggling goblins to elegant elves, with a zeal that can outshine Broadway! Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. At the Academy, dancers learn the importance of discipline, dedication, and the value of hard work. At the Tate Academy, students can benefit from a wide variety of dance and performance programs. Our Summer Intensive program offers an opportunity for dancers to hone their skills and gain new knowledge in a variety of dance disciplines. The program also includes classes in acting, improvisation, and nutrition. We strive to make sure that our tuition is affordable for all families, and our holidays and closings are set in advance to allow for proper planning.
