Our counselors and mentors are dedicated to helping campers build self-confidence, and develop lasting friendships. Our campers immerse themselves in fun and educational activities focused on community building, outdoor living skills, natural history, farm and food systems, and watercraft. Additional activity offerings include visual arts, performing arts, woodworking, and archery with opportunities for swimming, sports, and recreation during free time. Essential to the experience is a remote trip to a beautiful corner of Maine where they will develop transferable skills in camping and leadership to prepare them for more advanced leadership expeditions and life beyond their Chewonki summer. We offer a 3-week Full Session camp program for campers aged 10-15 and a 10-day, introduction to overnight camp called the Puffin Program for campers aged 8-11.
