Maine, often fondly referred to as ME by its inhabitants, is a state brimming with the beauty of rugged coastline, towering pine trees, and a smorgasbord of wild blueberries. ME is a wonderland where the mountain peaks wear snowy caps and the lobsters refuse to be anything less than a brilliant red. In the heart of Maine, there was a group of kids known as the Maine Mini Musketeers (MMM). These were no ordinary kids, oh no! They were Maine's finest riflery enthusiasts. Their leader, a strapping young lad with freckles so numerous you'd think he'd been sprinkled with cinnamon, was named Billy "Bullseye" Baxter. Billy had an incredible talent of hitting the bullseye, even when blindfolded and with one arm tied behind his back! Billy and his riflery rascals took their activity quite seriously. You could say they were as serious as a moose who'd lost her favorite munching spot. They trained by day, amidst the whispering pines, and by night, they gathered around crackling fires, sharing stories of the most audacious shots they'd made. And while they were quite the competitive bunch, they never forgot to have fun. They held 'Wacky Wednesday' contests, where they'd take shots in funny costumes and outrageous poses. And they loved to prank each other, with harmless pranks like hiding the rifle pellets in blueberry pies. And let's not forget the annual 'Great Maine Moose Hunt', a daylong game where they'd pretend to be the early settlers, hunting for the elusive wooden moose Billy's Grandpa had carved. The Maine Mini Musketeers' days were filled with the sounds of laughter, the smell of pine and gunpowder, and the spirit of camaraderie that bound them together like a moose and its favorite munching spot.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Wyonegonic Camp for Girls is a place where a young girl can come to challenge herself and find her inner strength. The camp is located on Moose Pond in Denmark, Maine and is the oldest girls' camp in the nation. Wyonegonic offers both 3.5 and 7 week programs for girls aged 8 to 18, with a ratio of one counselor to three campers. With 750 acres of pine forest and thousands of feet of waterfront, Wyonegonic has something to offer every camper as they explore new activities in a safe, non-competitive atmosphere. At Wyonegonic, campers are encouraged to be themselves and develop lasting friendships in the simplicity of the outdoors. Wyonegonic counselors are positive mentors and have a minimum of one year of college. They provide a supportive environment for the girls and help them to develop life skills and values that will benefit them in the future. The most important goal of the counselors is to ensure that the campers feel physically and emotionally safe away from home.
