In the far-flung, pine-scented, lobster-loving state of Maine, where the moose are big and the blueberries are bigger, a group of adventurous kids have found a hobby they adore. Right there, between the towering lighthouses and syrup-drenched pancakes, a crew of young fishing enthusiasts have taken to the crystal-clear, fish-filled lakes and fizzy, foamy rivers. Now, these aren't your everyday, run-of-the-mill kids. Oh, no! They're the Maine Marvels, often seen sporting waterproof boots, wide-brimmed hats, and grins as wide as the Kennebec River.

Among the Marvels, there's a jolly giant named Big Bob. With hands as large as lobster traps, Big Bob can reel in even the wiliest of walleyes. Then there's Susie 'Squid Arms,' named so because she can cast a line further than anyone else, almost as if she had extra-long, squid-like arms. And don't forget little Benny 'Bait Breath' who has a weird knack for knowing exactly which bait to use to lure in the biggest fish.

They spend their days casting lines and spinning tales, laughing as they reel in everything from tiny tadpoles to gigantic groupers. They’re not just fishing for fish, though. They’re fishing for fun, friendship, and the thrill of the catch. And let me tell you, nothing gets them giggling more than when Benny ‘Bait Breath’ tries to kiss a fish before releasing it back into the water. To the Maine Marvels, every day is a hilarious, fish-filled adventure in the great state of Maine.

Our unique educational approach combines the elements of art, yoga, meditation, and nature to create a holistic learning environment. Our services extend beyond the standard after school and weekend classes to include holiday and summer camps, birthday parties, portfolio preparation, private classes, and custom pods. We also welcome homeschool groups and are thrilled to announce the recent addition of a forest school program to our repertoire.

You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. For our families in Pennsylvania, we run the program from our family studio there. And if you're not in close proximity to any of our locations, don't worry. We offer in-home instruction and virtual options to ensure that Spark can reach you, no matter where you are. Today, Cobbossee is just as vibrant as it was when it was first founded in 1902. Its cabins, lakefront, and sports fields are just as beautiful as ever, and it remains a summer home for boys from all over the world. This camp is a place where boys can come to learn, grow, and develop a sense of camaraderie. 

Since 1902, Cobbossee has been a beloved summer home for boys who love sports. It is the second-oldest continually-running camp in the nation, having weathered every era since the turn of the century. In the 1930s, the camp grew from tents to wooden cabins, and set a precedent for tolerance by welcoming boys of Jewish and Latino descent.

This stunning spot in Maine still serves as a refuge for boys from all over the world today. Its cabins, lakefront, and sports fields remain picturesque and inviting, providing a safe haven for the boys to learn, grow, and foster friendships.

Robin Hood Camp Maine combines the Littlefield family tradition with one of the most dynamic camp programs in the US. Campers are given the freedom to choose their own daily schedule from over 35 activities and sports. 

It’s the only camp in the US that is located on a freshwater lake and the ocean, making it an ideal place for swimming, boating, and fishing. All campers are interviewed before admission to ensure the community is friendly and positive. The camp also provides world-class instruction, which is rare among summer camps. Finally, the Robin Hood spirit of fun, challenge, and supportiveness helps campers return year after year.

At Kids ‘N Comedy, our experienced staff is comprised of accomplished writers and comedians from New York City. Their shared journey is what makes them so passionate about this project. They recall their teenage years, when they didn't have access to a program like this one, and are committed to ensuring today's youth don't miss out on this unique opportunity. Camp Cedar has proudly upheld the values of camp and community that its founders established 66 years ago. Bill and Sheila Hacker, along with Henry Hacker and Henry Lesser, opened the original camp in 1954 with just 37 kids. Over the years, they built up the camp facilities with a true labor of love. Now, Camp Cedar is a thriving camp with 270 boys ages 8-15 enjoying the summer together. 

Camp Cedar is the perfect size, offering all the options of a larger camp while still being able to individualize each camper’s experience. Taking a walk to the campfire, visitors can witness the values of camp and community that have been proudly upheld since the camp’s inception. The dedication of Bill and Sheila Hacker, Henry Hacker, and Henry Lesser has created a lasting legacy that continues to enrich the lives of campers each summer.
