They could swim faster than a school of fish being chased by a hungry seal, dive deeper than the most daring dolphins, and could splash around creating water tornadoes that reached up into the clouds. Their favorite pastime? Navigating the roaring rapids of the Charles River on their magical sailboats, which would shape-shift into speedboats or paddleboards at their command. They held epic, laughter-filled water fights, where they'd conjure up gigantic water balloons and launch them at each other, only for them to explode into a shower of glittering bubbles. The Water Wizards were also known to indulge in a friendly race or two around Cape Cod Bay, zipping through the water with the agility of sea otters, leaving a trail of rainbow-colored water in their wake. They could even walk on water when they wanted to, prompting seagulls and ducks to give them a standing ovation. The residents of MA often chuckled, watching their antics from the shore. Our Half Moon Day Camp program offers a true summer camp experience for ages 3-15! Our beautiful campus is located on the shores of Lake Buel. Half Moon is located only 5 miles from Great Barrington Center. Our beautiful campus sits on the shores of Lake Buel and includes a full waterfront, heated pool, skate park, playing fields, challenge course with zip line, and creative and performing arts facilities, all set among beautiful towering pines.
At Camp Half Moon, we provide a unique summer camp experience for children from all over the world. Located in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, the camp offers a safe and secure environment where each camper can grow and learn new skills. Our campers are encouraged to explore their individual interests and talents, and are supported in their development of self-confidence and interpersonal relationships. Each day, campers can choose from a wide range of activities, from art and crafts to athletics, theater, and more. Our weekly campfire is a great way for campers to be recognized for their accomplishments and efforts.
