The league was designed for 8 to 10-year-old children, providing teams with complete uniforms and the best equipment. The league was sponsored by businesses, civic organizations, social clubs, and fraternal organizations. Additionally, each team was to be overseen by an adult supervisor. Since its inception, the Holyoke Youth Baseball League has been providing children in the area the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game and to develop their skills. The league has been growing steadily over the years and is now open to children from 8 to 18 years of age. The program provides young athletes with the opportunity to not only learn the game, but to have fun and make friends too. The Holyoke Youth Baseball League has been a staple in the community for over 70 years. It provides a safe and fun environment for children to learn and develop their baseball skills.
