He's a little red squirrel with a fluffy tail, blue sneakers, and a perpetual grin. Sam is convinced he's the official mascot of Sportsfield, even though no one has had the heart to tell him that mascots usually don't live up in the trees. Sam adores watching the kids compete, their faces lighting up with excitement as they run, jump and play. He chuckles from his perch when they tumble, their laughter echoing across the field. He silently cheers them on, his tiny paws clapping in joy. Each day, Sporty Squirrel Sam watches in awe as the kids of Connecticut transform into fearless athletes, their spirits soaring as high as his treetop home. Our playroom is specially designed to cater to children from infancy up to five years old, creating a unique space where they can let their imaginations soar. We take pride in our three distinct play areas, each purposefully designed to encourage different aspects of your child's development. One area is focused on promoting gross motor skills, providing children with plenty of opportunities to climb, jump, and run. Another area is set up for dramatic play, allowing your toddlers to engage in imaginative role-playing games. Lastly, we have a calming sensory room, a tranquil space designed to help children relax and recharge. This room is equipped with soothing sensory activities, providing a peaceful environment for your child to unwind after an energetic play session. We believe in the importance of balance in a child's day, and this calming sensory room is just the place for them to find it.
Starting December 9th, join us for a fun and exciting 8 week program. Learn to skate with Serhii Vaypan, Assistant Skating Director Sarah Carney and our regional and sectional competitive skaters. On-ice instruction will last for 40 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes of free time for you to practice your skills. Skate rentals are included in the cost of the program, and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Classes will run each Friday from December 9th till February 10th at 5pm, and the cost of the program is $155. Exact dates are: 12/9, 12/16, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10. There are no classes on 12/23 and 12/30. Our program is a great way for you to learn to skate and work on your skills. We hope to see you at the rink!
