Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. At Badger Gymnastics Academy, the tradition of excellence continues. Jessie Carlson, daughter of the founding Program Director Joel Alberti, is now the owner of the academy. She is continuing her father's legacy of providing quality instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Since the academy's founding, Tom Nikl has been a part of the BGA family. Tom is now the competitive team coach, and he works with the athletes to develop them into successful competitors at the state, regional, and national levels. Badger Gymnastics Academy has come a long way since its founding in 1976. With a commitment to providing quality instruction and a safe environment, BGA offers a variety of classes for toddlers, teens, and adults of all skill levels. With two full-sized gyms, an observation room, a pro-shop, and a competitive team recognized by USA Gymnastics, Badger Gymnastics Academy continues to be a leader in the Madison, Wisconsin area.
