Now, let's introduce our hero - a cool, funny, and wild-haired imaginary character named Doodle-Winks. Doodle-Winks, who wears rainbow socks and a cheese-hat, has an extraordinary power to bring any piece of art to life. This is a good thing, especially when you’re in charge of leading Wisconsin’s amazing Art & Crafts troop! 

This troop, full of lively, crafty, and giggly kids, love to stir up enchanting creations. They are wizards with paint, sorcerers of paper mache, and champions in bead-weaving. They can turn a blob of clay into a regal-looking cheese, a pile of yarn into a cuddly cow, or a blank canvas into a scenic masterpiece that would make even the trees blush with pride. Their imagination is as wild as Doodle-Winks's hair and their laughter as infectious as his jokes.

At Camp Brosius, you and your family create your vacation. Adults and children have the opportunity to participate in our exceptional family programming throughout the day, and we will provide fun-filled evenings for your entire family! Adults choose from swimming, tennis, sports and game tournaments, hiking, learning to sail, crafts, educational lectures, and more. Or, if it's respite you seek, you may prefer just to read a book and enjoy the serene setting. Young people ages 5–14 have an opportunity to experience a traditional summer camp, make new friends, and learn new skills. For over 115 years, COA's Camp Helen Brachman has been providing transformative camp experiences for Milwaukee's youth. The camp's trained counselors create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can explore the wonders of nature, try new activities, and make lifelong friends. Camp Helen Brachman is the longest-serving camp in Wisconsin's history and offers a unique 206-acre facility with Pickerel Lake located at the center.
