Now, before we dive into their whimsical world, let me introduce you to our guide, Sir Twinkle Toes. This dapper, ever-smiling scarecrow is dressed in a rainbow-colored leotard, his twiggy arms forever caught in a jazzy jazz hand pose. Rumor has it that he learned to dance from the wind itself, which would explain his exceptional ability to breakdance during a blizzard. Under Sir Twinkle Toes' watchful button eyes, the Vermont Vortex Vroomers have transformed dancing into a magical symphony of laughter, friendship, and wildly creative moves. Imagine a bunch of giggling kids, arms flailing, feet stomping, and bodies spinning like tops, all moving to the beat of their own rhythm. They're not just dancing; they're telling stories, each step and leap a word in their joyous, laughter-filled tale. So, amidst the snow-capped mountains, the dense maple forests, and the mooing cows, you'll find these dance-loving kids practicing their pirouettes and moonwalks. They are as much a part of Vermont's charm as the syrup-drenched pancakes. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At AED Dance Studio, located in the heart of Richmond, Vermont, we strive to provide high-quality dance instruction in a loving, family-oriented environment. We believe that students of all ages can benefit from exposure to the performing arts. Our staff members teach the styles they love and therefore pass on to the next generation a joy and appreciation for movement and performance. We offer a variety of dance classes, including Ballet (tiny tots, beginner, intermediate, pre-pointe and pointe), Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and Musical Theater. We also offer Summer Camps to give kids a chance to explore different styles, from tiny tots Princess Play to advanced instruction in Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theater and Combo camps. At AED Dance Studio, we understand that childhood is fleeting and that our students may have interests and goals outside of the performing arts.
