Led by their funny, cowboy-hat-wearing kangaroo coach, Slam Dunkaroo, they gathered every day under the scorching Texan sun to play their favourite sport. Slam Dunkaroo, with his booming laugh and signature somersault dunks, was an expert in ‘Hoopology’. His pouch was always filled with magic basketballs that only soared straight into the hoop. He taught his Texan tykes not only how to dribble with swagger but also how to shoot three-pointers with the accuracy of a NASA satellite. The basketball kids of Texas were known far and wide for their twirling tricks, hip-hop dribbling, and the famous ‘yeehaw’ cheer after each basket. Their laughter echoed around the court as they danced and pranced with the ball, their faces glowing brighter than the neon lights of Dallas at night. Every hoop they made caused a mini tornado, and when they did a slam dunk, it’s said that the armadillos raced off with surprising speed, leaving only dust behind.
