With a cowboy hat perched on his shell and a bandana around his neck, this crustacean is on a mission to make these kids the best sailors in Texas! The young sailors, or "Sea Rangers" as they like to call themselves, gather around Billy Bob, their little eyes shining brighter than the North Star. Their laughter fills the air as they learn to tie knots, set sails, and navigate through the vast blue yonder. Billy Bob makes sure it's a hull-load of fun! This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. Our camp offers diverse 2- and 4-week overnight sessions, packed with over 50 instructional activities. We seamlessly blend traditional camp activities with unique ones, from English and western horseback riding, Red Cross swimming lessons, a variety of team and individual sports, to archery, riflery, tennis, cooking, fencing, rock climbing, video production, and wilderness survival.
