And in this expanse of wide-open spaces, cowboys, and spectacular sunsets, there's a group of kids who do something pretty amazing. These aren't just any kids. Oh, no! They are the Super Singing Squad of Texas, a toe-tapping, high-note hitting, harmony-bringing band of kiddos who can belt out a tune better than a cowboy can holler at a rodeo. You see, these kids have a secret superpower: their voices. They can warble, whoop, whisper, and wow with their vocal cords, making them the most melodious youngsters this side of the Mississippi. Among them is a boy named Tumbleweed Ted, a lanky lad with a voice as smooth as caramel pudding. When Tumbleweed Ted sings, even the armadillos stop to listen, and they're known for being pretty hard of hearing. There’s also Prickly Pear Patty, a pint-sized powerhouse with a voice so powerful that she can knock a tumbleweed clean off its path. Every day, after a hefty helping of their favorite barbecue and a big glass of sweet iced tea, they gather around the campfire under the wide Texas sky, harmonizing under the stars. The Super Singing Squad of Texas and their spectacular sounds are as much a part of Texas as the Alamo, the longhorns, and the bluebonnets.
