In fact, they are a lot like Stretchy Rocco, adventurous and full of life. They love to practice their downward dog while laughing and giggling, pretending to be Rocco himself. Or they might try a warrior pose, standing tall and proud like The Independent Man on top of the Rhode Island State House. Their faces light up like the WaterFire festival in Providence when they master a tricky pose, and even when they wobble and fall, they bounce back faster than a Narragansett Bay wave. After all, they've learned from Stretchy Rocco that yoga is more about fun and less about perfection. So, you see, Rhode Island might be small, but it's a place where big dreams come to life!

The Self Defense Training Center Children’s Program is designed to teach kids more than just karate. Our classes focus on teaching children how to avoid conflict and stay aware of their surroundings. We also use physical fitness exercises to keep kids engaged and help them develop preparedness skills that will stay with them for life. At the Self Defense Training Center, we are passionate about helping children develop self-confidence and respect. Through our active self-defense exercises, we strive to equip kids with the skills they need to stay safe in any situation.
