From tiny, bug-eyed pufferfish to enormous, grumpy-looking grouper, every catch is a victory, a treasure pulled from the deep, and a story to tell. But fishing isn't just about the fish. It’s about the thrill of the chase, the peace of the waiting, the victory of the catch, and, of course, the laughter and fun shared with friends. The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket has been a cornerstone in our community since 1900. It began as a Boys Club, and while female members were welcomed and embraced in different capacities for much of the 20th century, it wasn't until 1988 that the Club officially changed its name to the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket. This move preceded the national Boys Clubs of America organization, which adopted a similar change in 1990. For more than a century, the Club has been an integral part of our community, positively impacting the lives of our youth.
