That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket has been a cornerstone in our community since 1900. It began as a Boys Club, and while female members were welcomed and embraced in different capacities for much of the 20th century, it wasn't until 1988 that the Club officially changed its name to the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket. This move preceded the national Boys Clubs of America organization, which adopted a similar change in 1990. For more than a century, the Club has been an integral part of our community, positively impacting the lives of our youth.
