Once upon a time in the ever-buzzing Empire State, New York, where skyscrapers touched the skies and pizzas were as big as park benches, lived a group of extraordinary kids. They were the “Book Buster Bunch” - the most adventurous, imaginative, and curious young brains that ever walked the streets of Times Square!

Among them, there was a quirky little fellow named Tommy "The Page Turner". He was famous for his spectacles, which were rumored to contain magical lenses. These lenses enabled him to read books at the speed of a cheetah and understand them like a wise old owl! His laughter echoed in the New York Public Library, turning even the gloomiest of days into a sunny carnival.

The “Book Buster Bunch” loved books more than ice cream trucks love the summertime. Every day, they’d embark on thrilling journeys, diving deep into the world of fairy tales, mysteries, and science, right in the heart of their favorite local library. These kids could swing through the jungles with Tarzan, solve mysteries with Sherlock Holmes, and even fly to the moon with astronauts, all without leaving their comfy library chairs.

Once, during the famous New York Snow-In, while the city was tucked under a thick blanket of snow, the “Book Buster Bunch” held a record-breaking reading marathon. They brewed a massive pot of hot chocolate and read for an entire day and night. Even the Statue of Liberty would have put down her torch to join this epic reading adventure!

In the lively state of New York, these book-loving kids surely knew how to turn pages into portals. They proved that with books, you don't need a subway ticket to travel; all you need is a vivid imagination!

At TAS Learning Center, we are committed to helping students of all backgrounds reach their educational goals. Our After School Programs, SAT and ACT Test Prep, Homework Help, K-12 Math Classes, STEM Learning, English Classes, Reading Classes, Vocabulary Builders, and Enrichment Classes are all available for parents who need late pick up options. Directors Rhonda and Mark have created a legacy of campers and staff that are passionate about the program and its mission. Rhonda and Mark first met as camp counselors in 1975 and later founded Rolling River in 1992. Now, their three children, Marissa, Alison and Jonathan, serve as essential members of the year-round Leadership Team.
