In the mystical land of NY, also known as the Empire State, where skyscrapers stretch towards the sky and apple trees grow bigger than bear hugs, live a band of kids with a special kind of magic. They are the Arrow Avengers! A ragtag team of bow and arrow aficionados that could hit a bull's eye with an apple stem if you dared them to.

Their leader? A funny, quirky character named Benny "Bulls-Eye" Brundlebop. Benny, with his comical headgear that somehow combined a baseball cap with an old-timey sheriff's hat, was just as likely to be found cracking jokes as he was to be demonstrating his archery prowess. The twinkle in his eye was as sharp as his arrows. Benny was the heart of NY's archery scene, leading his team of merry marksmen and markswomen through the concrete jungle and parks of NY.

From the foothills of Adirondacks to the hustle and bustle of Times Square, these kids made NY their playground, with their bows and arrows never far away. Benny and the Arrow Avengers were heroes of a different kind. No dragons to slay or princesses to rescue, their mission was to keep the spirit of archery alive, spreading laughter, joy, and the thrill of hitting that perfect bulls-eye. 

Their laughter echoed off the NY skyline, as they traded jokes, challenged each other in friendly archery competitions, and occasionally, accidentally shot an apple off a hot dog stand. In a city that never sleeps, the Arrow Avengers were the apple of NY's eye, bringing a unique flavor of fun to the Big Apple.

Since 1955, families have trusted THE MOUNT TOM DIFFERENCE to create lasting memories and foster positive youth development. Each group is led by an experienced, professional educator who spends the entire camp day with your children. Campers have the opportunity to participate in over 50 developmentally appropriate activities, including sports, swimming, and arts and crafts. We strive to ensure all campers build positive relationships, take healthy risks, try new activities and increase self-esteem. Parents are welcomed to visit our amazing facility for an initial tour with one of our directors. For over 60 years, Camp Cedarbrook has been a place of spiritual growth and adventure for girls. At this rustic Christian camp, girls ages 7-17 can discover a unique community of faith and explore who they are in Christ. Through outdoor activities, skill-building workshops, and worship services, campers can gain confidence to face life’s challenges, build relationships, and grow in their relationship with God. 

Camp Cedarbrook is dedicated to creating an environment where your daughter can thrive. Sky Lake is one of five camp and retreat centers owned and operated by the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. This camp and retreat center is part of the Camp & Retreat Ministries. It is supervised by The Executive Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries and overseen by the Committee on Camp & Retreat Ministries. At Sky Lake, visitors are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God, be the body of Christ within the world, and live in accordance with the example of Jesus Christ.

At Delaware County Camp, campers will have the opportunity to form strong bonds with their bunk mates and explore the great outdoors. From cooking and camping to exploring nature, campers will experience a variety of activities and programs designed to offer an enriching experience. In the evenings, campers will gather around the campfire and join in singing songs and enjoying special programs.

4-H Camp Shankitunk

The hard work and dedication of Mel Northrop, Colin Caldwell, and Stephen Smith to start a summer Bible camp for children paid off in July 1952 when the first Camp Li-Lo-Li opened at Allegany State Park. Despite the fact that these three men had never run a camp before, their passion for the ministry inspired them to learn the ins and outs of running a camp and they succeeded in their mission. The camp was named by 11-year-old Betty Carol Northrop in a naming competition and stands for Life-Love-Light, all attributes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
