These are the Color Crusaders, the most daring, imaginative, and downright funny painters you've ever seen! Led by their fearless leader, Captain Colorific, a sprightly little fellow who wears a paint-splattered cape and a hat with a rainbow plume, these kids know how to have fun with colors. With paintbrushes that twirl like magic wands, they create a riot of colors that could make a rainbow look pale! They can turn a boring, blank canvas into a sprawling jungle teeming with fluorescent flamingos, polka-dotted panthers, and turtles wearing top hats. Their favorite game is 'Guess the Goo,' where they close their eyes, dip their hands in paint, and guess the color by its feel. And let's not forget the epic paint fights that end with everyone looking like a walking, giggling abstract art masterpiece. Don't even ask about the time they tried to paint Captain Colorific's pet chameleon, Chroma - let's just say he ended up as the most colourful creature in all of New Jersey! Our services extend beyond the standard after school and weekend classes to include holiday and summer camps, birthday parties, portfolio preparation, private classes, and custom pods. We also welcome homeschool groups and are thrilled to announce the recent addition of a forest school program to our repertoire. You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. For our families in Pennsylvania, we run the program from our family studio there. And if you're not in close proximity to any of our locations, don't worry. We offer in-home instruction and virtual options to ensure that Spark can reach you, no matter where you are. A typical definition of “Art” is something created, expressing one’s feelings by using skill and imagination, usually appreciated for its beauty or emotional message. The Art Hut is just that…an array of different art classes including craft making where you can create your art masterpieces in a relaxed fun tropical atmosphere either with friends or much needed alone time and we supply all the materials needed. The Art Hut realizes in this hectic, fast-paced and techy world people of all ages need a way to turnoff, escape and rejuvenate, to go back in time and use our hands and imagination, some even call it therapeutic. You can relax, socialize and have fun or take more serious multi week educational style classes. We have different types of classes available for ages 18 months and up, beginners to more advanced. Every class is instructed and guided by one of our experienced staff members. We also offer parties for children to adults. If you have a special event, our staff of artists and crafters will come up with an artistic craft.
