New Jersey, fondly known as the "Garden State," was not only famous for its juicy tomatoes, sandy beaches, and the legendary Jersey Devil but also for these fearless young adventurers. The group was led by a sprightly girl named Sally "Spider Monkey" Sanders. Sally was as nimble as a squirrel, with a wild mop of hair that changed colors more often than a chameleon, depending on her mood. One day it would be electric blue, and the next, it might be neon green. Sally loved the challenge of the rope course, with its sky-high platforms, swinging ropes, and wobbly bridges. Even when she was clinging to a rope with the wind whistling in her ears and her heart pounding like a drum, she was grinning from ear to ear.
