Their favorite game is 'Guess the Goo,' where they close their eyes, dip their hands in paint, and guess the color by its feel. And let's not forget the epic paint fights that end with everyone looking like a walking, giggling abstract art masterpiece. Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition. ALLE Fencing Club also offers private lessons for personalized instruction and skill development, as well as beginner-focused fencing camps that combine fencing activities with teamwork, confidence-building, focus, and fun.
In 2020, the Guild of Creative Art proudly celebrated sixty years of service as the oldest and largest art community in New Jersey. Its founder, Yvonne Aubert, was a tireless visionary who purchased a five-car garage at the Guild’s present location at 620 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, in 1960. Surrounded by fields, the area had yet to grow into a bustling neighborhood of shops and malls. Aubert converted the garage to a studio and exhibition hall and encouraged some of the county’s most notable artists to become charter members. At the time, local painters and sculptors had few venues to exhibit their work and no opportunities for study so Aubert’s inspired idea soon became central to the artistic community of Monmouth County. Over the years, after numerous alterations and additions, the Guild of today is twice the size of the original building, and its membership has expanded to 500 artists. Located one mile south of Red Bank, the Guild is a member of the New Jersey State Council of the Arts and the Monmouth County Arts Council.
