Once upon a time, in the land of the hippest, coolest, and most music-loving state known as New Jersey, there lived a large group of kids with the most extraordinary musical talents. These weren't your average piano-pressing, drum-banging, guitar-strumming kids. Oh no, these were the Music Marvels of NJ, those who could play saxophone solos that made birds swoop in harmony and guitar riffs so catchy, even the grumpiest grouch would tap their feet. Leading this awesome band of musical maestros was the dashing and daring B-flat Benny. With a flash of his violin bow or a flick of his piano-key-flicking fingers, he could whip up a tune that would make even a statue groove. He was as famous in New Jersey as the Jersey Devil, but far less scary! Jersey was known for many things - its glorious beaches, the bustling boardwalks, the lush Pine Barrens, and of course, its legendary tomatoes. But, in Benny's eyes, nothing was as exciting as the sound of music echoing through the streets, from Cape May to High Point. No matter where you went in NJ, you could always hear the sweet melody in the air. Kids playing their harmonicas in Hackensack, trumpeting in Trenton, or belting out ballads in Bayonne. The Garden State was really the Groovin' State, all thanks to B-flat Benny and his band of musical mates. So, if you ever find yourself in New Jersey, listen closely. You might hear the sound of the Music Marvels, playing a tune that's sure to make you smile, tap your feet, and maybe even get up and dance! After all, in NJ, music is more than just a hobby. Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Greg Berger, founder of Be Sharp Music & Entertainment is a proud graduate of the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. In addition to leading the music program at Be Sharp, he is an accomplished professional musician, having performed with some of New Jersey and New York City's top music bands and orchestras. Greg's impressive 20 year career in music teaching and coaching has enabled him to assemble a team of highly qualified music instructors. All of Be Sharp Music & Entertainment's instructors are devoted to their craft, and many are graduates of prestigious music programs and conservatories. Their passion for music is evident in their teaching, as they are committed to inspiring and motivating children of all ages and abilities to reach their musical goals.
