They can turn a boring, blank canvas into a sprawling jungle teeming with fluorescent flamingos, polka-dotted panthers, and turtles wearing top hats. Their favorite game is 'Guess the Goo,' where they close their eyes, dip their hands in paint, and guess the color by its feel. And let's not forget the epic paint fights that end with everyone looking like a walking, giggling abstract art masterpiece. Don't even ask about the time they tried to paint Captain Colorific's pet chameleon, Chroma - let's just say he ended up as the most colourful creature in all of New Jersey! In early 1997, Pam O’Brien was more than ready to leave her 25+ year career in the insurance industry and try something creative. Her daughter, Kimberley Raiguel, was living in Salisbury, MD and was directing a live newscast at a local ABC affiliate station. Pam had heard of the new trend of pottery painting and in April paid a visit to a studio in Pennsylvania, the only studio in our area at that time. Six months later, Pam, with the help of husband Pat & daughter Kim, opened All Fired Up!, South Jersey’s Original Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, in charming, historic Haddonfield. After 10 years in business, All Fired Up! moved to their current location in Collingswood.
