In the majestic land of Massachusetts, known to the locals as MA, there's a curious crew of imaginative kids, buzzing with creative energy. It's rumored that a splash of magic from the legendary Beacon Hill unicorn’s horn mixed with the salty air of Cape Cod turns ordinary children into extraordinary artists. 

Meet our dynamic gang of Visual Arts virtuosos, led by the ever-whimsical, paintbrush-sword-wielding captain, Doodle McSmear. This group of MA moppets aren't your everyday kids - they're creative wizards, just like you! They see not just a pumpkin, but the canvas for an award-winning, ear-to-ear grinning Jack-o'-lantern. They see not just a pile of snow, but the fortress of a snow queen or the lair of a frosty dragon. 

Doodle McSmear, with his paint-splattered cape and rainbow beret, is a sight to behold. His hair, always pointing in all directions, is streaked with vibrant hues from a freak accident involving a kaleidoscope and a paint can. But, as Doodle would say, there’s no such thing as accidents in art, only happy surprises!

These MA kids turn every day into an artistic adventure, from painting murals on the shores of Martha’s Vineyard, sculpting masterpieces from Berkshire’s clay, to tracing constellations on sheets of paper under the starlit Boston sky. They believe that art isn't just about pretty pictures; it's a way of life, a language that speaks to the heart.

We also provide services for our active senior citizens, including fitness classes, health seminars, and social activities.

City of Worcester Head Start

Harriett Merriam, daughter of Charles Merriam, the man behind Merriam-Webster Dictionaries, founded Springfield Day Nursery in 1883. This was in response to a desperate need for child care among Springfield’s hardworking families. Now known as Square One, the organization provides tailored education and support services for every child and family. Our mission is to foster a lifelong love of learning, giving children the skills they need to make smart decisions and to grow strong in all aspects of life.

Located at 23 Pine Street in Milford, MA, CCC provides a safe and supportive environment for children from infants through 12 years of age. Open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, CCC is part of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Milford. The teachers have been certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and are committed to providing the highest quality of care and education for the children. They are also required to participate in regular training's to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible experience.

Creative Community Child Care

Evergreen Center was founded in 1982 by Dr. Robert F. Littleton, Jr., with the goal of providing a supportive learning and living environment for children and adolescents with autism and severe developmental disabilities. The center utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis as the foundation for its instructional technologies, with the aim of developing communication, basic academic, self-care, and social interaction skills. These fundamental abilities are essential for students to transition to less restrictive settings and lead a high quality life. Through the implementation of evidence-based practices, the Evergreen Center strives to ensure that all students reach their maximum potential.

Precious Ones Child Care Center

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality.

Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith.

Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.

Kim Poler and Marc Albanese have been teaching children about the power of art for over 30 years. Through their company, Beehive Art, they offer a range of art programs for kids that encourage exploration, experimentation, and expression. In their studio, children learn techniques, materials, and mediums while having fun and developing their creative problem-solving skills. Kim and Marc believe that the creative process can be stimulating and inspiring for children, and that art is a great way to help kids express themselves and learn more about the world around them.
