Massachusetts, or MA as we like to call it, is a super special state that is as fun to explore as it is to say! It's tucked away in the northeastern corner of the U.S, like a hidden treasure chest full of cranberries, lobsters, and some of the best swimming spots you can imagine! Kids from all over MA are not just ordinary swimmers but true water wizards, transforming every stroke into a splash of magic. 

Meet our cool, imaginary character – Marvin the Marsh Merman. Marvin is a cheeky, fish-tailed prankster, with a belly full of laughs and a head full of crazy swimming tricks. His favorite hideout is the picturesque Cape Cod beaches, where he teaches the local kids how to dog-paddle like dolphins, backstroke like otters, and freestyle like flying fish! 

When Marvin's not busy turning kids into aquatic athletes, he loves telling hilarious tales about his adventures through the Boston Harbor, or the time he outswam a speedy sailfish in the Charles River. On a warm, sunny day, you might catch a glimpse of him sliding down the Berkshire hills, using a giant clam as a sled, because for Marvin, the entire state of MA is his whimsical water park!

So, dear kiddos of Massachusetts, when you plunge into the pool or the ocean for your next swim, remember, with every splash and every laugh, you're adding a dash of 'Marvin Magic' to the beautiful state of MA.

The US Engineering League is a prominent nationwide establishment that passionately supports STEM-focused education. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. Our campers, counselors, and specialists work together to create an environment that focuses on cooperative play, respect for individual differences, creativity, active participation, and healthful living. 

At Shire Village, we provide our campers with a variety of activities, including theater, horseback riding, arts and crafts, farm and nature, and swimming. We also keep our camper to staff ratio at an impressive 3 to 1, so that every camper gets the attention they deserve.

Our campers receive top-notch instruction in sports and swimming, allowing them to expand their skills and stay active. Additionally, we provide unique opportunities for children to explore their community and develop meaningful connections with other campers. Our focus is on the holistic development of the child, so they can take the skills and memories they make at camp with them for years to come. 

At the Y, we understand the importance of providing a safe and secure environment for our campers. Our camp is regularly monitored by qualified staff and safety is our first priority. We also strive to provide a healthy atmosphere for our campers, offering nutritious snacks and drinks and encouraging physical activity. 

At the Y, we prioritize the learning and development of our campers. Through interactive activities and games, we teach children how to form collaborative relationships and become part of a team. We also provide unique opportunities for campers to explore their community and gain valuable life skills. Our campers leave with a sense of accomplishment and great memories of their time at the Y Day Camp.

Dorchester YMCA Summer Explorers

At Sunset Point Camp, children can learn to be independent while gaining new skills and interests. From swimming and boating to arts and crafts, campers can explore a variety of activities that help them develop healthy habits. Through team sports and other activities, children can also learn the importance of friendship and how to work together.

Campers also receive academic summer support to help them keep up with their studies and be prepared for the upcoming school year. In addition, Sunset Point Camp offers special events such as ice cream socials and a treasure night, where campers can make memories with their friends and counselors.

At Sunset Point Camp, children have the opportunity to develop independence, new passions, healthy habits, and lasting friendships. Whether they want to learn a new skill or make friends, campers can have a fun and meaningful summer experience.

At Hudson Children's Center, your little one can enjoy a safe and stimulating environment that is specifically designed for young children. Our bright, spacious classrooms provide plenty of room for individual growth and development through creative and challenging activities. We also boast a gymnasium, large fenced-in playgrounds, and an in-ground pool for swimming lessons in the summer.

We welcome children and families of all backgrounds, regardless of race, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, disability or marital status, or sexual orientation. Our center is open year-round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and we have full and half-day programs. We provide morning and afternoon snacks, and we ask that parents send a lunch with their child. If you would like to tour the facility or find out more about our programs, please call any day to arrange an appointment. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

Hudson Childrens Center

At the North End Youth Center (NEYC), our goal is to empower young people to reach their full potential by helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in life. We offer an array of programs for students of all ages, including Distance Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp. Our experienced staff guide and mentor students to develop beneficial, long-term relationships and help them to become productive, engaged members of society. With remote sites at The Ivy Academy (Elgin) and The Ivy Academy II (Geneva, IL), NEYC is able to provide students with access to the services they need, no matter their location.

North End Youth Center

One of the most important skills to promote in our children is the ability to persist. Even when our children’s creations don’t meet their expectations, it’s important to encourage them to try again. By teaching our children to persist when their pictures don’t please them, they’ll develop the confidence to create something they’ll be proud of.

It’s important to promote independence and critical thinking in our children. We need to show them how to think for themselves and take responsibility for their successes and failures. Encouraging our children to accept responsibility for their actions teaches them to become creative problem solvers. It’s important to avoid blaming others if a mistake is made as it sets a dangerous precedent. Helping our children learn from their mistakes and learn to persist will foster an environment of growth and confidence.

Mansfield Children's Center

For almost a century, Camp Green Eyrie has been providing girls with a unique camping experience. Located in the farming community of Harvard, the camp is set on 52 acres of stunning shoreline on Bare Hill Pond. Girls can choose to attend day camp from 9-4:30 daily, or they can opt for an overnight camping experience, which can range from 3-14 nights per session. 

At Camp Green Eyrie, girls can partake in an array of activities that match their interests. From swimming and boating to roasting marshmallows and singing traditional camp songs around the fire, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. In addition, campers can also explore their own interests with Camper Choice activities such as venturing out into the forests and fields, challenging themselves on the ropes course, and shooting arrows at the archery range. 

Whether they’re attending day camp or overnight camp, girls will enjoy a summer of exploration and adventure. From forming new friendships to learning about the mysteries of water at the Sara Hardy Science Center, Camp Green Eyrie is the perfect place for girls to create unforgettable memories.

DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From theater and dance to fencing and stage performance, children can try new activities and discover their unique talents.

Small class sizes let instructors give each child personalized attention, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and confident as they learn. Kids build artistic skills while also developing social confidence, teamwork, and poise on stage and in everyday life.

Our programs celebrate each child’s individuality, combining fun, hands-on experiences with a focus on personal growth—all while keeping Russian language and culture an important part of the curriculum.

At Grotonwood Camp and Conference Center, families can enjoy a variety of activities in a safe and secure environment. Our full-size gymnasium features a climbing wall and plenty of space for basketball, volleyball and other physical activities. For outdoor fun, there is a 1.5 mile waterfront on Lost Lake, wooded trails for hiking and mountain biking, a low-ropes course, archery range, campfire areas, and a sports field equipped with a baseball diamond and soccer goals. 

For special events, Grotonwood also has a beautiful chapel that is an ideal setting for weddings and church group retreats. We also offer a variety of housing options and wireless internet in specified buildings. Our dining room serves over 175 for breakfast, lunch and dinner, making it the perfect spot for you and your family. With so much to offer, Grotonwood is the ideal spot for your retreat or traditional Christian summer camp experience.
